pewter barware

Despite being replaced by the more common glass, porcelain, or ceramic, pewter barware still has that old classic appeal. Pewter is a metal alloy that primarily contains tin, with a little copper and antimony. It was popular during the middle ages but saw a decline upon the introduction of porcelain.

Pewter beer mugs continue to be popular and it is seen that these kind of barware is making a comeback. Today, it is also comforting to know that pewter items contain little or no lead.
