Setting up a bar can be a lucrative business. To get started, look for a great location, and find out the rental rates. Then look for reliable suppliers who can offer good prices for your wine and spirits.

Other factors to take into consideration are construction costs and permits. You also need to look up prices on bar equipment such as coasters and tumblers, serving platters and utensils. Conduct a feasibility study to find out whether you can make a sizeable profit from your venture, and to find out what your break even rates are.
