Although grease connotes something messy or dirty, it is actually a much needed ingredient to keep bearings and bolts to function smoothly. Grease is a lubricant that decreases friction, hence, making a machine or mechanism work with more efficiency.
There are various types of grease but the more popular one is the synthetic grease, which makes use of water-soluble materials that are non-toxic and even non-oil-based.
