ACK ELT

Every aircraft needs an Emergency Locator Transmitter. This will come in handy when the pilot has to make an off-airport landing or if the plane encounters an accident. One gadget pilots can trust is the ACK ELT. This device comes with two antennas.

One antenna can be mounted to the top of the air frame while the other is portable which the pilot can carry in the cockpit. During an emergency, the pilot can easily remove the ELT from the mount, install the portable antenna, raise it up and then turn on the ELT. The portable antenna can be further used anywhere else if need be.
