Stage effects equipment are important to enhance a performance on stage. It is also useful to attract attention in a variety of events including conferences, exhibitions, product launches, fashion shows and many others. These include equipment such as lasers, color changers, strobes and black light. Other machines such as smoke and bubble machines, fog and flame machines are also used. These machines have also been used in parties.
A fog machine or smoke generator is a device that emits a dense vapor that looks like fog or smoke. Typically, the fog is created by vaporizing base fluids. This fluid atomizes inside the fog machine. Upon exiting the machine and coming into contact with the moisture in the air, the vapor condenses, resulting in a thick visible smoke. Aside from its usefulness in stage effects, smoke machines also have industrial purposes such as visualizing the flow of air or testing for leaks or filter effectiveness.
