flute

If you’re looking to try out an instrument, there are plenty of instruments to choose from. The flute is often popular with beginners because of its characteristics. It’s not as bulky to carry around and relatively easier to learn compared to the piano or the guitar. The flute is part of the woodwind family. It is played by blowing air through one hole at the end and the pitch and melody is controlled by plugging the holes that run the length of the flute.

Another good thing about the flute is that it’s easy to care for. Just remember a few key things. Never play the flute if you have something in your mouth. Regularly swab and polish your flute so it won’t rust. After every use, drain your flute by placing it down standing up.
