One of the popular choices from the woodwind family is the clarinet. It has a cylindrical bore and uses a single reed. The most common clarinet is a B&M soprano clarinet. Clarinets are usually made of dark wood, although the common ones are made of plastic, they are of good quality as well.
Several parts of a clarinet include:~the reed~ligature~mouthpiece~barrel or socket~upper body section~lower body section~bellThere are cheap clarinets that are perfect for beginners. They work well for classrooms or for marching bands. Each clarinet is hand tuned so the intonation is precise. Some clarinets have a Grenaditte construction so they will not crack or warp.
