LED flashlight

Last month’s series of storms left our neighborhood without power for a week. It was a good thing we had a supply of charged batteries for our LED flashlight as well as a box of candles. It was fine enough in the daytime. But nighttime was a different story. People were moving around like zombies, their arms extended, flailing to find their way in the dark.

This is why I always make sure that we have a couple of flashlights on hand. One can never be too prepared for such things. Once the power was restored, I went on a charging frenzy so I would be prepared for the next outage. I also bought more candles and back up flashlights. I’d rather spend extra money on these things than bump around in the dark.
