bass guitar case

Generally, an electric bass guitar has four strings: E, A, D, and G. The highest string, the G, is an octave and a fourth below middle C. This makes tuning all four strings similar to tuning a double bass. Strings are made of metal (roundwound, groundwound, flatwound, or halfwound), metal with coverings (tapewound and plastic), and plastic coatings.
The various materials used in the strings are what give bass players a wide range of tonal options. For instance, flatwound has a smooth surface and a smooth, damped sound. On the other hand, roundwounds have a brighter timbre with greater power to sustain tone. Use a bass guitar case to make sure your musical instrument is always protected during transport.
