White Christmas and Jingle Bell Rock two of the top Christmas songs requested on the airwaves. If Christmas were not a once a year occasion, these two songs would probably top the charts longer. People never get tired of Christmas music. Perhaps it is because they are only heard on certain months of the year. They are classics that will never go out of style no matter how many new Christmas songs are launched by artists every year.
Christmas is the season for gift giving, charity and family. The Christmas season is probably the only time of the year when world peace is possible. Christmas music sets the mood for the season. It transcends countries and languages. Even those who may not have the Christmas spirit listen to Christmas music. Perhaps the magical sounds of Christmas songs have something to do with it.
