Laser rangefinders are devices used to calculate the distance of a reflective subject or target. They are very useful to hunting enthusiasts who measure for accuracy of bullets range and ballistics.
These devices work on the time of flight principle. A laser pulse runs on a narrow beam to a reflective target. It measures the time a pulse travels and reflects it back to the sender.
