The gun manufacturer most popular in making rifles is Weatherby. Weatherby rifles were originally designed by Roy Weatherby right after the end of the WWII. It was first built on FN Mouser actions that are known to have a good powerful punch. The early model rifles were the MARK V which was manufactured in West Germany.
After a while, the cost of labor and materials went high, so the company transferred its mass production line to Japan. According to some reviews, Weatherby rifles have improved significantly because of that change. Because of its outstanding performance, the Mark V is the most widely mimicked rifle in the world. It is also a bit more expensive than its leading competitors, Remington and Winchester.
