Bobcats are considered endemic in certain parts of North America. Belonging to the cat family, the bobcat’s prized asset is its fur that varies in color from tan to grayish brown. Sometimes it even has streaks of black that enhances the appearance. In fact, bobcat hunting is popular both for its fur as well as for the sport.
Experts say that the bobcat is easier to trap than to hunt. It is believed one of the most adaptable and resilient of animals. Certain gadgets like electric calls are put to use when trying to trap a bobcat. The most often used call resembles the sound of a dying rabbit. Hunters also use decoys or even dogs to assist in their successful entrapment of bobcats.
