“Everything starts from scratch”. This is applicable even to the masters of art. Every artist, beginner or pro, owns a set of drafting equipment. These are the necessary tools that an artist uses to start working on a draft that is usually drawn or sketched.

Most drafting equipment sets include:

  • Drawing boards – also called drafting tables; it should have the correct angle for the artist to optimize his drawing skills
  • Drafting chair – correct height of chair can avoid back and headaches
  • Pencils and colored marker pens – come in all shades; perfect for story boards
  • Airbrush – best for backing prints in frames
