There is a way of bringing together embroidery and quilt in one project. The most popular way of doing this is by personalizing a quilt with a person’s name using embroidery. Embroidery quilt designs can be written down by hand or it can be generated in a computer. The design can be transferred to the fabric using temporary fabric pen or a chalk pencil. With the outline of the design in place, you can start to choose the stitches that you will use.
A quilt personalized with embroidery will be a great gift for someone you love. A quilt blanket will be symbolic of the warmth that you are offering. The receiver will greatly appreciate the time and effort used in coming up with a beautiful personalized quilt blanket. Wouldn’t this make a great wedding gift? Maybe I should start making one for my daughter.
