To maintain healthy blood flowing in your veins, you must have at least 3,500 white cells per micro-liter of blood. White blood cells are the components of blood that are primarily responsible in fighting pathogenic bacteria that cause disease in our body.
Having low white blood cells make our body vulnerable to different kinds of diseases. Illnesses like dengue fever and malaria are known to attack white blood cells that make the body susceptible to other complications. Failure to administer broad spectrum antibiotics and antiviral medicines immediately may be fatal to a patient.
