How serious the injuries suffered by passengers in an aircraft accident with depend on a lot of factors. Unfortunately, there are people who assume that there isn’t much a person can do to increase their chances of survival in the event of a crash. This misconception should be dispelled.
Here are some general aviation safety tips you can follow the next time you travel by air:~ Pay attention to the pre-flight safety briefing ~ Don’t just glance but read the safety data card in the seat pocket in front of you ~ Check out the nearest emergency exits from your seat in front and behind you. Count the seat rows before you can reach those exits. This will help you in case you have to evacuate hurriedly in a smoke-filled airplane.
