discount sewing supplies

My grandmother lived with us for a few years when I was a child. I remember she would spend many afternoons sewing clothes for us. She sewed mittens for my baby sister and shorts for my little brother. She once asked me to accompany her to the mall to buy discount sewing supplies. I did not know what they were. When we got to the store, she bought needles, threads and fabrics. She was going to sew a pillow case for us.
My grandmother is no longer with us today. I miss her terribly and I sometimes wish I were a child again. She taught me so much about life. I miss going to the store to buy discount sewing supplies, those were bonding times for us. I have not learned how to sew. I did not inherit any of her talent or skills. I have talents of my own which I am sure she would be proud of if she could only see me now.
