discount baseball gloves

It was a fund drive that paid forward much more than what we expected. We had a charity ball game to fund a sports activity for inner-city kids who can’t afford to buy their sports items. One store was generous enough to let us buy at a discount baseball gloves, balls and bats, so we can form a team with the kids.

Overall the efforts bore successful results. We had a target of at least fifty kids for our program, and the first fifty were able to get new gloves. The rest opted to have the bats and the balls. There were a couple of other kids who seemed shy at first, but we could see in their eyes that they were interested so we did our best to draw them in. It obvious to us that everyone had a great time, and that’s what made our day.
