Batteries are out, sunlight power is in. Technology these days has enabled consumers to enjoy the benefits of solar energy via solar watches. Casio’s GW1400A-9AV G-Shock Men’s Solar Powered Watch is a good example.

It has solar-powered quartz movement. Features include atomic timekeeping, measuring modes, power saving function and auto-calendar. It is water resistant up to 200 meters or 660 feet and has world time capabilities of 29 time zones or 30 cities.
