wedding boutonnieres

When I got married, I wanted a classic theme. I was inspired by the big band era. Rod Stewart’s “The Great American Songbook” collection was playing almost everyday in my car. I wanted a classic wedding gown with lots of lace. My husband wanted to wear a tuxedo and I insisted he along with the rest of the groomsmen wear wedding boutonnieres.
Wedding boutonnieres usually match the bride and the bridesmaid’s bouquet. The flowers used for boutonnieres could be the same roses used for the bouquets. Flowers can also be used for the reception table and even to adorn the wedding cake. Weddings are so much fun. The most beautiful weddings are always the ones where the atmosphere of love is felt all around. It’s not flowers, not the cake, not the dancing and the band but love.
